Japanese Genmaicha Matcha
Genmaicha Matcha is a Japanese matcha tea mixed with small puffed rice balls.
Matcha translates to "ground tea" and is therefore a green tea powder. It holds significant cultural importance in Japan, as it is served during the tea ceremony. It is regarded as a particularly noble type of tea.
For Matcha, the harvested tea leaves are steamed, dried, and after removing all coarse leaf veins, ground in special mills.
The puffed rice balls are made from whole grain rice (Genmai). They add malty roasted notes to the green taste of the tea.
The Genmaicha is offered in a very attractive gift packaging with Japanese design.
use
Ideally, the water for this tea should be at a temperature of 95°. Let the tea steep in the water for 2 minutes and then remove the tea bag.
